Course Overview

This is an advanced post-graduate course in surgery designed for the experienced physician or physician-extender and allied health professional to master concepts in bariatric and metabolic surgery. Strong emphasis is placed on discussion between expert faculty and audience with complex case presentations. Course structure encourages interaction between faculty and attendees with break-out small group discussion of complex cases as well as debates of controversial topics. The course concludes with the popular free-wheeling "Stump the Masters" panel discussion where the Master faculty are put on the spot having to problem solve complex cases sent in for presentation by the attendees.
